Automotive Software Convention 2017
More than 90 percent of the innovation in modern cars is characterized by electronics and software. Electronic control units in the vehicle perform their duties reliably when the installed software has been carefully and reliably programmed. With the ever increasing number and complexity of the electronic functions in the car, the structuring and partitioning of software, the exact documentation and the software test with the highest possible and precise test coverage are of crucial importance. With regard to safety-relevant functions in cars, electronic and software errors can endanger people and the environment, unauthorized access to the electronic control system as well.
The Automotive Software Convention 2017 at the Landshut University of Applied Sciences on September 27, 2017, covers the entire development cycle of ECU software in the car, from the definition/proposal phase through development to testing and verification. The event is aimed at developers and technical experts from the entire automotive value chain: OEMs, Tier n suppliers, manufacturers of development tools and components, automotive service providers.
cip alpha will be present at the Automotive Software Convention 2017 as exhibitor and sponsor, at our stand you may get to know AM-PACK and talk to our experts on tool support in the automotive development process.
Guido Lange from cip alpha contributes to the program of the Automotive Software Convention 2017 with a motivational speech titled Agile Navigation throug the V. His talk describes a tool-based (Siemens Polarion ALM + cip alpha AM-PACK) approach for dovetailing the automotive software lifecycle at the suppliers side with
- the OEM's project planning,
- the Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262 requirements,
- optimum product/project data management support, and
- flexible and agile handling.
